The Institute for Contemporary Canadian Art was established in Nov. of 1985 to collect and exhibit works that represent excellence in Canadian Contemporary art. We seek to present work by artists at the zenith of the Canadian arts scene, from the late 1970s through to the present. We are also highly focused on presenting and collecting works made by living artists, in an effort to present works on the cutting edge of Canadian contemporary art practice.

We also seek to provide digital access to our collections through the “Works from our Collection” Tab, through which we are slowly digitizing works works from our collection and providing online to those patrons of ours who are unable to come into the gallery or who live outside Toronto.
